Gastón Lisak is a designer/artist passionate about people, daily life and time, and he his work lets him focus on experience design, user generative content and ephemeral installations. Upon graduation, he was awarded the prestigious bronze LAUS, in recognition of his final project "The Future is Now: Co-Creation in Times of Change". Gastón was selected to became a researcher at FABRICA, Communication research centre of Benetton in the north of Italy, where he was responsible for the creation of visual pieces in the Social and Artistic program at Benetton Live Windows. There he has developed "Hidden Beauty" and "SafeToSpeak," which were selected by United Nations to be shown at Times Square, New York and Piccadilly Circus, London.
Gastón is the co-founder of Unofficial Report a design platform that captures the spirit, dialogues and personalities of events around the world. This platform has been exhibited at places at Salone del Mobile (Milan), Art Basel (Switzerland), World Ducati Week, London Design Week 2013 and Barcelona Design Week 2014.
Gastón works on collaborations and "non-designer" creations, where he creates designs with imagery and thoughts. and uses technology + design to connect brands and institutions with people, an experience that has enhanced his relation to design and discussion.
He has also been involved as a consultant in projects for brands including Ericsson, GoogleCreativeLab, Desigual or Danone. Now, Gastón combines his passion, teaching and leading workshops, while continue working on his artistic research.
Secret fact: Gastón is a professional shower singer and a lover of second hand markets.
