For eighteen years, Gabe has been designing interactive exhibits and interfaces, and leading teams to create innovative experiences for clients that include organizations like the Harley-Davidson Museum, The American Battle Monuments Commission, Milwaukee Art Museum, EMP Museum, and Microsoft’s Strategic Prototyping Group. His design work and the projects he has led have received recognition from Communication Arts, Print, How, I.D., AAM MUSE Awards, and The One Show.
In 2003, Gabe founded Belle & Wissell in Seattle–a studio that crafts memorable, participatory experiences by blending inventive design and technology. With exceptional craftsmanship and a set of modern tools, the studio creates content-rich, participatory experiences for exhibit environments and other public spaces. Belle & Wissell collaborates on diverse commissions by providing design and technical capabilities, with storytelling content creation for multi-touch interactives, media art installations, educational films and animations, and Web experiences.
