Andy Davidhazy has always followed a very natural curiosity in life, with very little regard for artificial boundaries and orthodoxy. His values and passion for storytelling, the craft and making of things, and walking slow with an open mind were on display in 2015, when he documented his 2600 mile hike from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail by taking a self portrait at every single mile of the trail. The time-lapse video he created immediately went viral, garnering millions of views, international press, and providing others the courage and motivation to go outside or keep moving forward.
Andy has served as an executive creative director, brand strategist, designer and writer for 20 years—helping executives and their organizations deliver more meaningful products and customer experiences. His project work has included the branding of China's Li-Ning, Trails.com, and Ottawa's NASL and CFL sports teams; experience design programs for Boeing, Holiday Inn, Sirius|XM, and the Edmonton Oilers Arena; product innovations for P&G and Rubbermaid; marketing campaigns for HP, WebEx, and SpotMe; and large websites and interactives for the Chicago Cubs, AT&T, GE Healthcare, and Disney. In addition to his brand consulting work, Andy develops photo documentary and film projects, with subjects ranging from the early days of the Egyptian Revolution in 2011, and a new short film about life at the end of the Pacific Crest Trail.
