Nit de Sant Joan
Sant Joan is often described by Catalans as the ‘Nit del Foc’ – meaning the ‘Night of Fire’. The whole city of Barcelona will be partying and enjoying the longest day of the year. Sant Joan kicks off late – usually just as the sun is setting. The partying goes on until sunrise and thankfully there is a public holiday the day after. It’s one of the biggest and most exciting parties that the city hosts and the electric atmosphere draws almost everyone out onto the streets.
Explore the neighborhoods in the Ciutat Vella and Barri Gotic, go to the beach and join in the fun!
