Many great designs start off as simple sketches in a notebook, or even on the back of a napkin. The act of sketching allows designers to explore the impossible and push boundaries, rather than being limited by whatever widget or pattern library they might be using.
By using a webcam, Brad Nunnally will take pen to paper and attempt to come up with possible solutions to a basic problem. Taking the best sketch, he’ll bring up a prototyping tool and build out a quick interactive prototype to showcase the sketching and prototyping process. His session on “30 Minute Prototyping” will be similar to a cooking show, starting with the prep work and finishing up with a tantalizing dish.
